Determine
Your Classification Code
The
federal government uses classification codes to describe the
services and products that it purchases. Classification
codes are divided into two primary groups:

A - Z represent service groups and Groups 10 - 99 represent
products. For example, bandages and aspirins are considered medical
supplies and they are grouped under code 65.
If your company were to provide medical services the proper
group would be Q.
